I would have absolutely applied to Stanford for a humanities program if they had tried to recruit me in high school. Wonder what the status on their graduate programs is…

Anyway, as a former history major, I thought this was a really interesting read. Universities are suspended in this weird realm between sluggish development of infrastructure and a fast paced, forced adherence to the latest employment trends.

I wonder sometimes if we’re losing an entire generation of voices to practicality. I don’t blame them, and yet I mourn their loss.
